When I was working, Sunday seemed to be the shortest day of the week.
We would start the morning by attending church. After church, fix something to eat, pick up groceries and anything needed during the work week. I would also plan my work requirements and family/social commitment as would my husband and daughters when they were at home. We would watch a television program for an hour and then go to bed. Whew!
Activities on Sunday or Monday evenings, if we had a 3 day weekend, Steve and I seldom considered or weighed carefully. In September 2012, we were able to spontaneously enjoy The Spokane Symphony’s Annual End of Summer Concert in Comstock Park. The weather was perfect. We decided to go only 2 hours before the concert.
I have also enjoyed 2 Spokane Junior Symphony concerts with my mother this season. I didn’t have to get everything done in two hours after arriving home.
